⭐TOP POP 1/0 NARROW⭐ 1934D Cleveland - PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 68EPQ C2CDon't fall for "High Grade," "Superb Grade," "Awesome Grade" uncertified notes being offered online. Most of the time, there is a reason why they are not in a third-party grading company holder. Think about it. It's a multi-million dollar epidemic. Avoid being taken advantage of! Message me for details.
Here is a very attractive and colorful 1934-D Federal Reserve Note from the Cleveland district with nice sharp edges, square corners and excellent eye-appeal. The green color on the seal and serials is nice and bold. The Friedberg number is Fr. 2058-DN ("Narrow" variety) and the treasury signatures are Clark-Snyder.
This note has been certified and graded as Superb Gem Uncirculated (CU) 68EPQ by PMG -- great grade for making sets of the highest-end, quality material. This is a Top Pop 1/0 note -- highest ever certified, tied with no other notes at the grade of 68EPQ.
Get this: no 67EPQ's exist within the PMG population report. So this is a Top Popper by a full TWO (2) points.
Early Feds in 68 grades or higher are unheard of. Trust me. These are few and far between to begin with, then as soon as they do emerge, they quickly get snagged up and sequestered into serious long-term collections for many years (decades) to follow. Good luck finding another.
The "Narrow" back is a neat little variety specific to the '34-D series Federal Reserve Notes. The printed design on the back is "squeezed" in a tiny bit, left to right, compared to the "Wide" back variety. "Narrows" are generally seen as tougher notes with smaller production figures compared to their "Wide" counterparts.
The best part of this note's grade is the "EPQ" that was awarded by PMG. For those of you out there just starting out in the hobby, its a great idea to look for original, exceptional paper quality when shopping for notes. Greedy dealers of today and yester-year have dreamt up a number of ways to "improve" a note's appearance to unsuspecting and untrained eyes in an attempt to maximize profits (pressing, chemically treating, etc.). The sad thing about this is that such deceitful and unnatural tactics ruin a note's originality forever. I am proud to say that this note has not fallen victim (yet) to these tactics, as evidenced by the "EPQ" on the holder.
I have a full-blown, no-questions-asked return policy, so feel free to buy the note with the expectation that it can be returned if you are not satisfied. I will even pay for your return shipping. But I have a feeling that you won't want to return it once you have it in your hand.
I will be listing over 200 notes over the next couple of months (I am downsizing my collection some) so be sure to check back with me, or better yet, add me to your favorite sellers list. I just received back several hundred notes from PMG and there is a lot of exciting, rare, high-grade stuff in these stacks. Almost my entire collection is decent, quality material. I have worked hard on developing my "eye" for original, problem-free notes over the years and have been cherry picking shops and shows for over a decade.
Thanks! Please email me with any questions. I will be highly responsive to all inquiries.
