Vintage Carved Mother of Pearl '5' Buttons - Various Sizes and Shapes - Lot

Vintage '5' Carved Mother of Pearl Buttons - Various Sizes and Shapes.- 3 have metal box shanks.  Other 2 are sew thru.  Measure:
'3' x  7/16",  '1'  x  5/16",  '1' x  9/16.

All of the buttons, (Bakelite, Metal, Glass, Plastics, Shell, Wood), were part of a collection previously owned by my deceased Uncle Jimmy.
He collected these mostly during a lengthy illness in the 1930–1940’s.
I have done my best to research and learn about these buttons in order to provide you with both an accurate and adequate description.
