    This is a neat old black and white vintage postcard with a cancellation of 1908 from Portland Oregon. The caption reads: Drinking Fountain, Shasta Springs - Shasta Route. This is in the northern part of California and it was a tourist location. It has the previous owner's note around the rim: Here's where we stopped to drink Shasta water! It has a handwritten message on the underside. It indicates it was made by Denison News Co. Oakland, Oregon. The 1 cent stamp is barely cancelled. Beautiful card in great condition. Nice old timer.
