    Description

    Description
This is an amazing door that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It is made of oak and is painted.
The top has a panel of oval beveled glass with carvings at all 4 corners of the frame on both sides.
There is a raised panel at the bottom.
The front has a thick shelf below the glass trimmed in dentil and reel and bead moldings.
The front side has a large original bronze back plate, most other hardware will need to be replaced.
    It measures 34
inches wide by 74.75 inches tall and 2 inches thick.
Overall, it is in good condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique.  It could use a good cleaning. There is a mail slot and a deadbolt hole. It was trimmed and is slightly out of square. There is silicon around the glass on the inside. The panel has some water damge on the inside from a leaking pipe, it was found in a basement. Please look at  the pictures carefully.

    Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
    About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
