  • Condition: This authentic SYMPHONY 128 "S64" RAM Memory Cartridge was only used briefly in a home studio. It is in excellent condition. The photos show the high quality of this very rare item. Any existing data on the cartridge can be overwritten with your compatible Roland synthesizer or drum machine. The original 3 volt battery was replaced on JULY 1, 2021. The cartridge comes with a helpful operating guide and the original padded jewel case. There is a hairline crack in the back of the jewel case. This minor imperfection was there when the item was initially purchased and does not impact the case's performance.

    .  This rare and highly-rated little wonder can store data and significantly expand the memory of many vintage
    Roland
    synthesizers and drum machines.
    The SYMPHONY 128 "S64" includes four independent memory banks.
    These banks offer the storage capacity of four M-64C cartridges which sell online for an average of 0 each (shipping included).

    d models include the DDR-303, GR-700, JX-3P, JX-8P, JX-10, MKS-10, MKS-20, MKS-30, MKS-700, MKS-80, TR-707 and TR-727. For detailed memory cartridge usage information, please consult your

    model’s Owner’s Manual.
    Any existing data on the cartridge can be overwritten with your compatible
    Roland
    synthesizer or drum machine.
    The four banks of RAM data storage operate independently of each other allowing the flexibility of four separate data cartridges.  The four memory banks (A, B, C, D) can be easily accessed via the two toggle switches on the cartridge.
    Please do not confuse this item with its little brother, the SYMPHONY 128 "S16" cartridge. That version has a far more limited memory capacity and is equivalent to only four Roland M-16C cartridges.
    This cartridge features a battery backup system to retain items in its memory.
    The original 3 volt internal battery in this cartridge was replaced on July 1, 2021.
    The SYMPHONY 128 "S64" cartridge includes a helpful illuminated memory protect switch.
    In the ON (red light) position, all of the data on the cartridge is protected and cannot be overwritten. In the OFF (green light) position, new sound data can be saved and existing data on the cartridge can be overwritten. To protect your data, it’s important to keep the switch in the ON (red light) position at all times except when you are writing new data to the cartridge.
