Description
4 separate items are included in this sale. There are two copper foil machines that help you align the foil on the edge of the glass as well as two lead vices that help you stretch your lead. The copper foil machines are sturdy machines from the 1980's when things were built better. One of them (the brown one) is made by Diegel Machining and here is their description of the machine-
"
The Diegel foiler is the leading foiler in the stained glass industry. Only the Diegel Foiler will off-center the foil. This is important if your foiling BEVELS. You'll want more foil on the back side to line up correctly with the front side. The only foiler that can foil Ripple glass. The smoother side must be toward the guide pin. Set the Guide Pin so that there will be more foil to cover the ripples0. The reels can hold every type and size of foil." However, this comes with only ONE set of guide wheels which are already installed and work with 7/32" wide foil.
The other copper foil machine (yellow one) is from Sunshine Glass Works, Inc. and is set up for two different sized foils. It appears to be for 3/16" and 7/32".
It appears that there are some generic versions of both of these machines on the market and my guess would be that you might be able to get additional wheels from some supplier- but not guaranteed.
All equipment is sold as-is simply because I no longer have any glass to test these with.
