    Description

Over the years Speedplay made a number of changes to the internals of Speedplay Zero Pedals. To date we’ve seen 3 versions now. Please disassemble your pedal kit before you buy to insure you get the right kit.
This is a complete 3 bearing overhaul kit for the internals of your Speedplay Zero. This kit is compatible with Titanium, Chromoly and Stainless steel Zero road pedals
Included in the kit are all 6 bearings with the primary bearing upgraded to ABEC 5 quality. While I do offer ceramic kits (for the Frogs), I feel the ABEC 5 offers far more performance for the money. These bearings are far superior to what was in your Zero pedals from Speedplay.
The needle bearings are also an upgrade over the originals. These are sources from Europe (not CHINA) .
I have started including seals with these kits as well but they will not fit every pedal. Somewhere along the way, Speedplay made a change to the seal spec and I haven’t put my finger on when. If they don’t fit, it’s ok. I wasn’t charging for them anyway and most of the time the seal in there can be reused.
I can confidently say that these jets are the best quality, highest performance at the lowest cost available-I’ve tried and examined all available here specifically!
I prefer Phil Wood or Maxima water proof grease, but an abundance of any water proof grease is perfect.

    Couple Notes
    :
Be sure to grease the inside of the needle bearing prior to installing as these come from the factory with only a very light lubricant.
Also while your fingers are covered in said grease, roll the o-ring around and make sure it’s covered as well especially where it mates to the needle bearing.
Lastly, please be sure to clean the inside of the pedals very well before reassembly. There can be fine metal shavings and dirt in that old grease that will shorten the life of your new bearings.
