Rare find indeed.  How many doors made in the 16th century do you find?  Not many.  I lucked out about 20 years ago when I found this.  They made them to last in those days.
And the door is absolutely beautiful.  It was designed to be used as an entrance door.  However, I used it as an interior door.  I like exterior doors better then most interior doors.  They seem dull to me.  Thus, when we built out home, I found antique doors for the interior as well as the exterior.
I was told when I purchased it that it had been taken from an old church in France.
Door is approximately 8' 9" X 34"
