    Description

This is a beautifully mounted Print of the Elgin, Joliet, & Eastern (EJ&E) Transfer Diesel 910.
    This offering is a professionally
    mounted
    Print for
    Display
that was purchased at a Railroad Swap Meet in Saint Louis in the 1988 era.
    Photo taken by Michael Wise.
Print measures 7 inches high by 9 inches wide and is mounted to wooden backing board.
The backing board appears to be trimmed in hardwood veneer and painted black.
The loco pictured is one of the famous twin engine transfer engines built by Baldwin powered by their 6 cylinder diesel.
The prototype locomotive and 25 siblings were built in 1948 by Baldwin and originally had two 6 cylinder normally aspirated power plants.
These locos were able to clear the yards and were the workhorse fleet of EJJE for many years.
The loco pictured has been re-powered with EMD powerplants which necessitated a wider EMD style hood and front mounted radiator.
The Green Text Overlay is NOT Part of the Photo, only there for advertising purposes.
Item will be shipped in a bubble mailer.
    Thanks for looking!
