Such an amazing find ! It is very rare to find any Original Spanish style homes nowadays let alone with all of the original contents . Salvaged out of the Historic district of Hancock Park from an original 1920’s Spanish Revival home with the old tile roof and Adobe finish. The stairs were lined with original old tiles and old gothic style hardware and lighting throughout. The slide bolts were located in the front living room on French doors that lined the wall to the pool and garden area. All of the hardware was custom made for this house with an amazing hammered hewn finish truly capturing the Spanish revival style and era.
The bolts are set with a spring catch so that they stay in place and do not slide down. This is the first time We have seen bolts made with this feature. This auction is for one bold with six available for purchase.
