Description:
Unusually tall, hard to find original screen doors from 1880 Victorian.
If you are handy, you can save a bundle as these are very expensive to replace with new ones due to the height. These doors do not accomodate standard screen or glass frames.  The orginal screening was staples/nailed to the rim. Does not have molding to hold either screen or glass panes.
Size:
Each door is 108 inches tall and 30 inches wide, the inside "window" area is 70 inches by 25 1/2 inches and the bottom opening is 28 inches by 25 1/2 inches. It is 1 1/8 inch thick. I believe it is walnut, but I am not positive.

Condition Report:
Not bad for 134 years old! Both doors have been stripped and sanded and are ready for painting or staining. Needs some repairs such as some joints need to be re-glued and there is some surface damage to repair, but wood is solid with very little warpage.
Most hardware holes are usable for installing either new or vintage hardware. Door does not come with any hardware or screening. See our other listings for hardware both old and new.
