Old Spanish Kitchen Swing Door Oak Craftsman Arts And Craft Style 81x33.This is an old kitchen
swing
door. The door appears to be in overall good condition I
did notice
a few small nicks
in
on the bottom
inside what
appears to possibly
be scratch
marks but I’m not sure
try to
include all detail in the photos
from a home that was built in 1901 by a famous architect Joseph Cather Newsom prolific designer and builder of late-C19 . At the beginning (1878) he was building in the Eastlake or Stick style, then they turned to Colonial Queen Anne, boarded gables, gouty colonnettes and extreme ornamentation in what can only be described as an exuberant free style. then a flirtation with the Colonial Revival or Shingle style, the château style, the Georgian Colonial Revival, and Beaux-Arts Classicism.
