Norfolk and Western 2300 Steam Turbine electric train photo #2.
Experimental steam locomotive. Built in 1954 and scrapped in 1958. This type met with little success. Coal dust messed up the windings on the electric motors and other issues caused it to be short lived.
This print reproduction will make a great nostalgic piece for your collection.
