Fits XJS 1988-1996 & Fits Only 90-93 XJ6 XJ12 With Anti-lock                                    Brakes.
When the accumulator starts to lose pressure it will cause the
ABS pump
to activate more frequently with the "brake / anti-lock" lights coming on the dash.
Which will in turn cause your 0.00 ABS pump motor to fail prematurely.
It doesn't really fail, but gets progressively worse over time. Inside the metal sphere is a balloon and the balloon loses the nitrogen gas inside.
Without ABS system pressure you have a very hard brake pedal and backup front brakes only, its exactly like having no power assist brakes.
The average do it your selfer can easily replace the accumulator, it will only take 15 minutes from start to finish, brakes do not even have to be bled at all.
You do not have to bleed the brake system at all. Just depressurize the system, with ignition OFF (Key Out), you pump the brake pedal 25 times & the entire system will DEPRESSURIZE!

As that old saying goes, you get what you pay for, why waste your money on a POORLY MADE, LOW QUALITY, GENERIC ACCUMULATOR, that will never hold up & last YEARS!
There are plenty of those no name ACCUMULATORS floating on ebay, that are guaranteed to fail prematurely.
I am an ASE CERTIFIED AUTO MECHANIC of almost 30 years, so I speak from experience!
Many people have had mechanics misdiagnose the problem & replaced the entire Teves ABS master cylinder for no reason, which is a major waste of MONEY & EXPENSIVE LABOR, over ,200 just for the part remanufactured!
