  • Condition: This antique arched corbel is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It was most likely part of interior decoration in a church. It is made out of solid oak and finished to a warm medium oak color. The details are hand carved and well crafted. Note the repair at the top of the arch-it looks like it was cracked/separated and then repaired. It is very solid and strong as it is now. Other than the repair, it is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Dimensions: 23.75" wide, 19.75" tall and 2.5" thick.

    This antique arched corbel
    is from France and it dates to the late 1800's.  It was most likely part of interior decoration in a church.  It is made out of solid oak and finished to a warm medium oak color.  The details are hand carved and well crafted.
    Note the repair at the top of the arch-it looks like it was cracked/separated and then repaired.  It is very solid and strong as it is now.  Other than the repair, it is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches.
