Antique Solid Wood Door
w/5 Horizontal Panels
Rare, exterior-size, interior door salvaged from an apartment  building in Northeastern, PA.
The door is made of solid Douglas Fir and is painted brown and  tan. It  has
5 raised, horizontal, stacked panels on both sides.
A customer in Salt Lake City bought the door and had us plug the  hardware holes and replace the beat-up sides with fresh wood. The last 4 photos  show the door before we worked on it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a shipper  before her deadline and we had to cancel the sale. Her loss is now your  opportunity!
Hardware

e have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store.
Condition
:
The door is strong and sturdy, and in excellent condition. We removed all the  bad spots it originally had, and now the door is ready to sand and paint. Expect only nicks, and  scratches in the painted areas, but no breaks, cracks, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that  it has
will disappear after sanding, prior to repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks."
Strip/Refinish

We could    strip/refinish, or partially or completely strip the door to   prepare it for  you to repaint or refinish.

Swing
:
The  door has no hinge mortises so you could place your hinges wherever you like and  define the swing of the door.
Modification
:
Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
