    The silver plated steak knife in the Chinon pattern is the same size as the dinner knife but has a pointed and serrated blade better suited for cutting meat. The Chinon collection is an updated version of the 1862 Christofle classic known as Vieux Paris. It takes its name and inspiration from the small French town in the Loire Valley and is characterized by thin threads, fiddle-shaped ends and a form that ever so slightly suggests a violin. Launched in 1862, this model was known for many years as “Filet” or “Vieux Paris.” The stately form & sober ridges suggest the shape of a violin.
