    RAISED PANEL POCKET LATE 19TH CENTURY  DOOR STAINED
    This door is very unique as it is a
    single pocket door
    with raised panels in the Victorian Style.
    The Pocket
    door is a  single sliding wooden door that disappears into the wall and  is  brought out from one side  of the pocket in order make a closure;

    THIS RAISED PANEL POCKET DOOR  IS IN  VERY GOOD CONDITION AND WAS REMOVED FROM THE MANSION WHERE IT  STOOD  FOR FIFTY YEARS.
    UNUSUAL PANEL CONFIGURATION-
    The design of  panels are:  3 raised  rectangular    panels   above a   long  narrow   panel  in center  with  3    panels  below  and at the bottom    another    long horizontal panel  about   36  inches long

    Both  antique  brass door knobs are oval shaped,decorated with relief ornate pattern.  And two  beautiful   dimensional  and   ornately detailed  key plates.
    The doors are constructed very beautifully and  add sophistication to any home. They are   from the style and creativeness that was used during  a bygone era, still very popular  today.
    Hard to find old pocket doors like these.
    Great for a restoration job. These  date back to the early 1900s. As you can see in the photos the door  has fine  character and  can be easily painted to match your style and décor.

    The original collector of these architectural items  began collecting antiques, and antique architectural accesories from the many old homes that were torn down in Montgomery from the years 1935- 1970 and storing them in his warehouse with the intent of eventually building a home with them.
