    Description

    Description:
These great doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.
They are made of pine and are painted on both sides.
Each has a panel of glass at the top (clear flat likely replaced).
The fronts have a lower raised panel surrounded by raised moldings and glass and panels have Eastlake beveled edges.
Most hardware will need to be replaced.
They measure 49 inches wide together, 91 tall, and 2 inches thick.
Overall they are in fair condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. 2 deadbolts and a mail slot were added. They were trimmed and are out of square. The astrigal is not original and a strip of wood was added to make them a little wider. One door has joint separations, I clamped them and they easily went back into place. They need some TLC but are solid sturdy doors. Please look at the pictures carefully.

    Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
    About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
