    Description

    Description:
These great double entrance doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.
They are made of chestnut and are painted on one side.
Each has 2 raised panels at the top with glass openings below and 3 raised panels at the bottom.
The raised panels have fluting on both sides.
Most hardware will need to be replaced.
They measure 47.25 inches wide together, almost 88 tall, and 1.5 inches thick.
Overall they are in fair condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning.
The astrigal or divider molding is missing. One of the doors has a curve in the middle, the top and bottom line up with the other door but the middle bends out around an inch. Plywood was put over both doors so there are screw holes all around the perimeter of both doors. Please look at the pictures carefully.

    Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
    About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
