Description

Description
This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side.
It is made of walnut and is mostly unpainted.
The center section is recessed, there was a mirror at the top (missing) with a marble top washstand and under mounted painted porcelain sink bowl and 3 piece backsplash below.
The bottom had 2 drawers with a small cabinet below, the drawers and cabinet doors are missing.
To either side are doors, each having an ornate raised panel at the top with a beveled mirror below (1 missing).
There was a drawer below each door (both missing).
The 4 legs are fluted with carved corbels at the top.
The pediments at the ends have circular embellishments, ornate moldings and carved crowns with finials.
The center has carved corner brackets, a panel with carved festoons and a massive carved crown at the top.
Magnificent piece.
It measures 122.5 inches wide by 115 inches tall by 22 deep.
It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck.
This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides.
Overall it is in good condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning.
The 4 drawers and cabinet doors will need to be replicated. The porcelain bowl has a few hairlines, i have not tested it. The hot and cold faucets are missing. This is an exceptional piece that will need some restoration. Please look at the pictures carefully.

Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
