Description
DescriptionThis is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side.
It is made of walnut and is painted.
The center section is recessed and backed with a beveled mirror with a granite top washstand.
Below the washstand is a drawer and small cabinet faced with 2 doors.
To either side are the closet doors, each having 4 flat Eastlake spoon carved panels.
There is a drawer below each door.
The 4 legs have fluted pilasters with carved corbels at the top.
The pediments have carved brackets, carved moldings and dentils.
The center also has carved corbels, a carved panel and turned finials.
Magnificent piece.
It measures 108.25 inches wide by 109 inches tall by 19 deep.
It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck.
This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides.
Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning.
Most of the hardware will need to be replaced. There are several cracks to the legs and door panels. There is an area of damage to the left of the vanity and right of the left door. This is an exceptional piece that will need some restoration. Please look at the pictures carefully.

Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
