• Condition:
The top rim is ground and there are some iridized tiny fleabites on the exterior and minor roughness on the interior, all likely from the grinding process. The balance of the vase is free of chips, cracks and fleabites, including damage hidden by the carnival coating. There are some minor scratches from storage, none easily seen or distracting. The interior is very clean with mineral deposits or build-up. The glass is a very dark amethyst, which is only visible through a bright light. The foot has slight shelf wear as expected. The iridescent coating is fantastic with electric coloring of purples, greens, golds and blues.
The vase has a 2 part construction with mold seams at the points of each side. One side of the exterior seems to have a signature impressed underneath the carnival coating, however I can't make it out. It's a beautiful vase and will make a fantastic addition to a Carnival or Art Glass collection or on it's own.
