The first 3 photos show the first door in the lot. The last 3  photos show the front and damage of Doors#2 - #4 in order (Doors#2 - #4 are the  only doors in the lot with damage). All of the doors in the lot look just like the door in the photos but differ slightly  in size. If you are planning on buying less than 9 doors please look at the dimensions below and email us after the auction to let us know which door(s) you'd like.

Elegant, interior doors salvaged from an old home in
upstate NY that was built during the middle of the previous century.
They are all made of solid Douglas Fir  or pine. All of the doors are completely painted white. They
have a single, recessed (flat) panel with lovely, stepped molding on both sides.
When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine  hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have  the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities  that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also  much harder and stronger than young pine
.
Hardware
:
The doors  are not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of  hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store).

Uneven Height
:
The heights  of Doors#2, #4 and #8 were unevenly cut by 1/4".
The cuts were most likely made to compensate for a settling  foundation or an old warped floor. We could cut the doors to an even   height, cut them shorter or narrower, and we could also add wood to it to make  it taller or wider to fit your opening

Condition
:
The doors are
strong,  sturdy, and in excellent condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but  no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. The worst  damage is on Doors#2 - #4. (See last 3 photos in order. 3rd to last photo shows  Door#2, 2nd to last photo shows Door#3 and last photo shows Door#4). Most of  the  blemishes that it ha
s will   disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever   remains will be subtle, "character marks".
Strip/Refinish
:
We could    strip/refinish, or partially or completely strip the door(s) to  prepare it/them  for you to repaint or refinish.
We have MANY  photos of doors that we've restored that could give you an idea of how these  doors could clean up
