Pair of Antique French Doors w/30
    Wavy Glass Lites
    Lovely
    pair of
antique  double  doors salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The doors are made of solid  Douglas Fir or pine and are painted pink
    on both sides.
Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New  pine hewn  from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the  same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much  harder and stronger than   young pine.
The pair has an impressive arrangement of 30, true-divided windows. Most or all  of the glass is original, wavy glass. Although the glass is considered "wavy"  it's not extremely wavy. The glass distorts reflections because of it's slightly  uneven surface, but don't expect crazy, funhouse-mirror-level distortion like  glass from the 1800's.
    Hardware
    :

    Uneven Height
    :
The  height of one of the doors and the width of the other were uneven
ly cut by 1/4" at some point, most likely to compensate for an old warped floor or settling foundation. We could  cut each to an even 29 3/4"x79 1/4", cut it shorter/narrower, or even build it up to  make it taller/wider--email us for a quote.
    Condition
    :
Considering  their age, these doors are in excellent condition! Expect the typical nicks and  scratches, but no
breaks, cracks, rot, warp, or any  other serious flaws. The doors are strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of  service.
