    Description

    Offered for sale are 50 Wonderful Vintage Washington "DC Metropolitan Police" Uniform or Coat Brass Buttons.
    Based on my research, I believe these are from the early 1900s.
    30 Measure approx. 1 inch wide and 20 measure approx. 1/2 inch wide.
    Marked on the back "Waterbury Button Co. Conn".
    These buttons do have wear consistent with age and use (light scratches, tiny dents). Some of the shanks are slightly bent or smushed. The buttons are slightly tarnished and I have not polished them as I don't want to disturb the patina. Please refer to photos.
