  • Condition: salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. It has a solid chestnut core covered with 1/8" thick oak veneers. It's stained and finished on both sides (not painted). There is a half-length window with raised panel below. Although the door doesn't have any glass, we could order and install the glass of your choice. No hardware. The worst blemishes are shown in the last photo: a chipped piece of window molding and a small piece of veneer broken off one of the lower corners. We could patch these part. Most panels are not just one very wide board, but instead several narrow boards glued together, side-by-side. The glue joining 2 or 3 of the boards has worn off, and as a result, the panel has a very tight split in the middle and a shorter split between 2 other boards. We tried to take close ups of both sides of the panel to show the splits, but they are so tight that they're tough to spot. The molding around the panel is removable and the panel could also be removed*FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW*

    Entry Door w/Window & Panel
    Gorgeous
, antique,  exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. It has a solid  chestnut core covered with 1/8" thick oak veneers. It's stained and finished on  both sides (not painted).
Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike  the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are  1/8' thick and provide strength and stability to the door. This door could be  refinished a couple of times without sanding down to the core wood.
There is a  half-length window with raised panel below. Although the door doesn't have any  glass, we could order and install the glass of your choice (i.e. beveled, clear  tempered, acid-etched/frosted, textured, etc.)

    Hardware
    :
The door is not equipped with  any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit  it (check out our eBay store).
    * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with  solid wood, please email us for a quote.
    Quirks & Considerations
    :
    The width and height were
unevenly cut by  1/2" - 1/2" at some point. The cuts were most likely made to compensate for a  settling foundation or an old warped floor. We could cut the door to an even 41  5/8"x 94 1/2", cut it shorter or narrower, and we could also add wood to it to  make it taller or wider to fit your opening

The molding around the panel is removable and the  panel could also be removed, disassembled, and thoroughly cleaned. Once the dirt  and build-up between the boards is removed, the panel could be reassembled and tightened  with modern wood glue, which is superior to old, hide glue. The gaps will be  removed and the panel will be seamless once again

    Condition
    :
Considering  that the door is well over 100 years, it's in great shape. It
    has
the typical  scrapes, scratches which are normal to find on door this old.  However, there is no rot, warp, or any serious flaws like cracked/broken  joints.
The worst blemishes are shown in the last photo: a chipped piece of window  molding and a small piece of veneer broken off one of the lower corners.
    We could patch these part
