, antique, exterior  door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA.
It's made
of solid  Douglas fir and  is painted on both sides.
It has 9 windows above 2  raised panels.
Hardware
:
The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of  period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store).

Quirks & Considerations
:
All of the glass is old-fashioned, wavy glass. Some of the  original glass was replaced throughout the years so you have a variety of wavy  glass.
Whoever replaced the glass must have broken the molding during  the process. Instead of replicating matching molding, they just used flat pieces  of wood. One of the bottom windows is held in place with glazier's putty. We  could replace the flat pieces and the putty with matching molding--message us  for a quote.
The height and width of the door was unevenly cut and so was the front and back.  We could cut the door to an even 30 7/8"x83 1/4", cut it narrower and/or shorter, or even  build either up to make it bigger

Condition
:
Although the door looks rough, it's really just the exterior (brown) side. The  aforementioned molding issues are on the exterior side. T
he worst flaw  is the 2 cracks and broken exterior molding in the bottom panel. We could fix  this

The door itself
is in good structural condition. Once stripped/sanded, the fresh wood under the  painted surface will come forth and could even be stained and finished.
The door is  strong and sturdy. It  has
the typical scrapes, scratches, small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. T
here  is no rot,
warp, cracked or broken joints, or  any serious issues.
Once the door is
sanded for a new coat of paint, or stripped to refinish, most of the blemishes would be removed. What remains will be covered by paint or stain, and only appear a "character mark."
All of the glass is intact and also in great condition with only subtle  scratches.
Refinish/Repaint
:
We  could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the doors to prepare  any of them for you to repaint or refinish.

Swing
:
The  door is set up to swing into a house towards the right or away towards the left.  We could change the swing--email us for a quote.
Modification
:
We  could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could  make a frame, trim or add to the height or width,  replace glass with screen,  reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small  description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
