  • Condition: Please note that the 32"x80" in the title is just an estimate. The door is not exactly that size. Please see "Dimensions" below. Salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and has a single recessed (flat) panel on both sides. It is painted white on both sides. No hardware included. It has a window with clear, old, wavy glass. The glass surface is old and uneven so it distorts reflected images making them look "wavy" or bent out of shape. Considering the door is about 100 years old. It is strong, sturdy and in great condition. The rail under the window has some water damage and it's difficult to judge the extent of the damage because of the paint, however we could repair it.Otherwise, the door only has nicks and scratches, but no gouges, rot, warp, broken or cracked joints or panel, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to -*FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW*

    Beautiful
    , antique door  salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of  solid Douglas Fir or pine and has a single recessed (flat) panel on  both sides. It is painted white on both sides.
    Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood.  New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the   same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has.  Old pine is also much  harder and stronger than young  pine.
    It has a window with clear, old, wavy glass. The  glass surface is old and uneven so it distorts reflected images  making them look  "wavy" or bent out of shape.
    Hardware

    The door is not  equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection  of period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store).

    Considering  the door is about 100 years old.
    It  is strong,
