Unique
, antique, exterior  door salvaged from an old home in
Northeastern PA. The door has a solid birch core covered by  1/8" thick birch veneers. It's painted gray on the front and stained and  finished on the back.
The door
has  a lovely arrangement of 6 true-divided windows. Five windows have their  original, hand-blown, wavy glass lites and one has newer, non-wavy glass. One of  the wavy lites is cracked (see 2nd to last photo). We could replace both or  either for /lite.
Hardware
:
The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of  period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store)

Uneven Height
:
The door's  height was unevenly cut by 1/2" at some point, most likely to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. We could cut it to an even 79 1/4", cut it narrower and/or shorter, or even build it up to make  it bigger

Condition
:
Considering that the door is 80 - 100 years old, It's in great, structural  condition. I
t  has
the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door, but no warp, rot, or serious breaks.
Once the door is
sanded for a new coat of paint, or stripped to refinish,  most of the blemishes would be removed. What remains will be covered by paint or stain, and only appear a "character mark."
There are a few places where veneer is missing or delaminating (see last 3  photos). However, these could be repaired--email us for a quote.
Five of the six  lites are intact and one has a small crack (see 2nd to last photo).
Refinish/Repaint

We could refinish or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish.

Swing
:
The door is set up to swing inwardly towards the right. However, we can modify it to swing towards the left--

Modification
:
We  could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could  make a frame, trim or add to the height or width,  replace glass with screen,  reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small  description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
