Antique Solid Wood Storm Door w/12 Lites & 1 Panel
Rare, antique, storm door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door  is made of solid pine and is painted  brown on both sides. The door has a removable window with 12 glass lites.
When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine  hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant,  rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees  hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young  pine.
    Hardware
    :
The  door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of   period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store).
    * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with  solid wood, please email us for a quote.
