30"x 90" Vintage Interior Wooden Pocket Door w/ 2 Recessed Panels
Wonderful,  old,
interior pocket door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid White pine and has 2 recessed panels.
If you think that pine is a weak, soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood   milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they  are  cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our  forefathers  from trees that were hundreds of years old. These doors were built  using the wood  from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that  has endured the  test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less  susceptible to warping  and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than  today's pine lumber.
We found  the  door stripped of paint and stain. Whoever did the job didn't do as thorough of  a job as we do, so I would recommend about another 2 hours of  sanding if you are  planning on staining. If you are planning on painting, the  door is ready to prime  and paint.
Hardware
:
The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door (check out our eBay store).

Condition
:
On the exterior side of the door, the top edge of the lock stile is chipped.
On the interior side of the door, the top of the hinge stile is chipped.
Otherwise, this door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes--minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during  the finishing process or covered if painted.
Refinish/Repaint
:
We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish.
