Antique Victorian Doors w/5 Raised Panels
What a rare find! Gorgeous, heavy, antique door salvaged from an old home in  Northeastern Ohio. It has a
solid, Douglas Fir core covered with
1/4" Heartpine veneers.
Please don't  think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike   the paper-thin veneers used  on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are   very thick and provide strength  and stability to the door. This door could be   refinished several times without sanding down to the core wood.
Hardware
:
The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store).

Condition
:
On the exterior side of the door, there is a break in the bottom hinge mortise; one of the top panels is cracked; and the bottoms of the lock and hinge stiles and the top rail are chipped.
On the interior side of the door, the edge of the lock stile is chipped.
Otherwise, this door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes--minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during  the finishing process or covered if painted.
Refinish/Repaint
:
We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish.
