Handsome, antique, closet door salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This door was original to the home's   construction and the home was built during the first half of the  previous century.
The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine,
and is
painted on both sides.
It has 6 recessed (flat) panels on one side, and a mirror on the other side.
When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine
.
The door has an unusual, panel arrangement of 2 small panels at the top, 2 long panels in the middle, and to medium panels at the bottom.

The  door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Height
:
The door was unevenly cut by 1/4" the cut was made
most likely to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut  it to an even 82 3/4", cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to  be wider/taller--

Condition
:
The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp,  or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will  disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks" (See last photo for worst blemish)

Condition
:

The glass is also in great shape with only subtle scratches.
The mirror's silvering is a bit worn, but overall it is in excellent condition.

Swing
:
The front of the door is the paneled side and the back is the mirrored side. The front, paneled side
is set to swing into a room towards the left. If you want the mirrored side to be the front, it would swing toward you, away from the room and end up on your right side.
