    Solid Wood Interior Door
Handsome, antique door salvaged from an old, home in  Central New Jersey. This door was original to the home's   construction and the home was built during the first half of the  previous century.
The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine
    ,
    and is
    painted white on both sides.
It has a single flat panels on both sides.
When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine
    .
    Hardware
    :
The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a  good selection of hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay  store).
    * If you would  like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please  email us for a quote.
    Uneven Width
    :
    The door's width was
unevenly cut by 1/4" at some point, most likely to  compensate for a settling foundation or an old warped floor. We could cut the door to an even 29 3/4", cut it shorter or narrower, and we could also add wood to it to make it taller  or wider to fit your opening
