Rare, interior door salvaged from an old home in  Northeastern PA.
The door is
made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine, and is  completely painted white.
When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the same  insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old   pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder  and stronger than young  pine.
It looks like the door has a panel within a panel, however, it's just an optical illusion produced by thick applied molding. This molding makes the door pretty unique.
Hardware
:
The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store).

The width and the height of the door was unevenly cut by 1/4" -  1/2" most likely to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We  could cut it to an even 29 3/4"x77 1/4", cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to  be wider/taller--

Condition
: The
door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent structural condition. It has the typical nicks, scrapes, and scratches, which
will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks." There are no breaks, cracks, rot, warp, or any serious issues. The door is very well-built and ready for another lifetime of service.
Strip/Refinish
:
We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the  door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish.

:
The door is set up to swing into a room towards the left, or away from the room towards  the right. We could change--
