  • Item must be returned within: 30 Days
  • Restocking Fee: 20%
  • Condition: salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and is stained and finished. It has a traditional, Arts & Crafts style, 2 recessed (flat) panel arrangement. No hardware included. The door's height was unevenly cut at some point by 1/4", most likely to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. We could cut the door to an even 76", cut it narrower and/or shorter, or even build either up to make it bigger. The door is strong, sturdy, and in great condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks." The door is set up to swing into a room towards the right or away towards the left. We could change the swing of the door. Dimensions:30 1/8" x 76" - 76 1/4" x 1 3/8"

    Antique Solid Wood Interior Door
    w/2 Panels
Handsome, antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA.
The door is made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and is  stained and finished. It has a traditional, Arts & Crafts style, 2 recessed  (flat) panel  arrangement.
Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn  from 10 - 20  year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even  fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from  trees hundreds of years old  has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than  young  pine.
    Hardware
    :
The  door  isn't equipped with hardware
    . However, w
e have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store.
