salvaged from an old, home in Olyphant, PA. The door was original to the home's construction and the home was built during the first half of the previous century. It's made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and is completely painted. It weighs about 45lbs, which is considerable for it's size (new doors weigh about 40% less). No hardware included. The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It has the typical nicks, scrapes, and scratches that you would expect to find on an old, used door, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. The worst blemishes are 2 small breaks or chips in 2 of its lower corners (see last photo). Most of the blemishes the door has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks."
