salvaged from an old row house in Harlem, NY. The door has a solid oak core covered with 3/16" thick birch veneers on one side and 3/16" thick oak veneers on the other. It has a single, window on both sides. Although the door was used as an interior door, it's thick and strong enough for exterior use. No hardware. It looks like someone intended to cut the door to an even 85 5/8", but didn't follow through. As a result, a portion the stiles is missing. We could fill in the missing portions with solid wood to make the door an even 86 1/2", cut it shorter, or build it up to make it taller. The width of the door was also unevenly cut by 1/4" at some point, most likely to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. We could cut the door to an even 29 3/8", cut it narrower, or even build it up to make it wider.
