Beautiful
, antique, storm door salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door is made of solid pine or Douglas fir and is completely painted green.
When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine  hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees  hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young  pine.
The door has 5
screened sections. only 2 sections have a tiny rip and hole. I'm not sure that the holes are big enough to warrant replacing the screens, but that's up to you to decide. We could replace them if you prefer

Hardware
:
The door is not equipped with  any  hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it  (check out our eBay store).

Uneven Height
:
The door's  height was unevenly cut by 3/8" at some point.  We could cut the door to an even  83 7/8", cut  it shorter/narrower, or even  build it up to make it taller/wider

Condition
:
The door is strong, sturdy, and in great condition. It only  has nicks and scratches, but  no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other  serious issues. The worst  damage on the door is a break on the top corner of the exterior lock stile (see last photo) and 2  rips in the screens. Most of the blemishes that it ha
s will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever  remains will  be  subtle, "character marks".
Strip/Refinish
:
We could  refinish or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for    you to repaint or refinish.

:
The door is set up to swing away from a house towards the left(out-swing) or  into a house towards the right. We can change the swing---
