    28"x77"
    Antique Solid Wood Interior Door
    w/2 Panels
Handsome, antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA.
The door is made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and is   stained and finished. It has a traditional, Arts & Crafts style, 2 recessed (flat) panel  arrangement.
Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn  from 10 - 20  year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even  fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from  trees hundreds of years old  has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young  pine.
    Hardware
    :
The  door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of   period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store).
    * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with  solid wood, please email us for a quote.
    Uneven Width
    :
The door's width was unevenly cut at some point by 1/4", most likely to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. We  could cut the door to  an even 27 1/2", cut it narrower and/or shorter, or even build   either up to make it bigger

    Strip/Refinish
    :
We could refinish or   partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or    refinish.
