25.5"x74" Antique Vintage SOLID Wood Wooden Interior Closet Pantry Door 5 Panels

$ 105.59

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Decade: 1920s
  • Color: Light Wood Tone
  • Original or Reproduction: Original
  • Condition: salvaged from an old home in Central New Jersey. It's made of solid Cypress and has 5 raised, horizontal panels on both sides. It's stained and finished, but the the finish is very worn, which will facilitate the prep-sanding process. The height was unevenly cut by 1/4" most likely to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut it to an even 73 3/4", cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to  be wider/taller. Considering it's age, the door is in great shape. None of the panels are cracked or warped, there is no rot, no broken or cracked joints, nor any other serious flaws. The only flaw to repot is a thin portion of the lower corner broke off (see last photo). We could rebuild the corner with solid wood. Otherwise, the door just has the typical nicks and scratches that are commonly found on old, used doors. Most of the blemishes it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting. 25 1/2" x 73 3/4" - 74" x 1 1/8" *FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW*

    If you're not familiar with  cypress, it's considered a soft wood, but it's quite durable and rot-resistant.  It is very popular in the South because it could stand up to the high humidity.
