  • Condition: Salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern PA. This door was original to the home's construction and the home was built during the first half of the previous century.  The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine, and is painted white on one side, and yellow on the other. No hardware included. The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks.  The hinge mortises span the thickness of the door allowing you to define the swing. Dimensions: 4 1/8” x 80 1/8” - 80 3/8" x 1 3/8”. We could also modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs.     Handsome, antique, closet door salvaged from an old, home in  Northeastern PA.
    The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine,
    and is
    painted white on one side, and yellow on the other.
    When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the   same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine

    The  door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good  selection of hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay  store).
