Salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern PA. The door has a solid Fir core covered by 1/16" thick birch veneer. The door has 2 recessed (flat) panels on both sides. The door is stained and finished on both sides. Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". Swing and Dimensions listed below.     Antique Solid Wood Interior Door
    w/2  Panels
    Handsome, antique, closet door salvaged from an old, home  in Northeastern PA.
    The door  has a solid Douglas Fir core covered by 1/16" thick birch  veneers. The door has 2 recessed (flat) panels on both sides. The door is stained  and finished on both sides.
    Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality.  Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers   are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door.
    Hardware

    The  door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a  good selection of  hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store).

    Uneven Height
    :
    The door's height  was unevenly cut by 3/8".
    The cut  was most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation.
